مهمتنا

"To advance the frontiers of applied mathematics and foster a culture of rigorous inquiry, international collaboration, and knowledge transfer for the benefit of science and society."

What We Do

The Centre for Research in Applied Mathematics (CRMA) is a national research centre dedicated to the development of mathematical theories and methods with direct applications in science, engineering, and industry. Our work spans four core research divisions: Numerical Analysis, Partial Differential Equations, Mathematical Modelling, and Optimization & Control.

We conduct fundamental and applied research of the highest quality, train the next generation of applied mathematicians through our PhD and postdoctoral programmes, and contribute to scientific culture through public lectures, summer schools, and outreach activities.

Our Values

Scientific Excellence

We pursue research of the highest international standard, driven by curiosity and rigor.

Openness

We share our results freely and foster an open, collaborative research culture.

Diversity & Inclusion

We are committed to building an inclusive environment where all researchers can thrive.

Impact

We bridge the gap between fundamental mathematics and real-world applications.
